About StackBlaze

Ship products, not infrastructure.

StackBlaze helps you deploy applications, databases, and services from your repo to production in minutes. We handle SSL, networking, load balancing, scaling, and the rest of the production stack so you can focus on your product.

Our story

Built because production kept taking longer than building.

We wanted a platform where you push code and get a production deployment.

Not a hyperscaler that expects you to become a cloud architect. Not a shared host that falls over when traffic shows up. Something in between: simple to start, serious enough to run real workloads, and honest about what is happening underneath.

We started StackBlaze because running software in production kept taking longer than building it. Connect a repo, configure SSL, wire up networking, set up load balancing, figure out storage and backups. The list never ends, and most teams do not have someone whose full-time job is infrastructure.

That is what we are building. A young, bootstrapped company with a small group of angel investors who believe in patient, independent infrastructure. We are still early, and we will not pretend otherwise. But we have a clear reason to exist and we are building for the long run.

What we do

A deployment platform for real workloads.

It is not only for developers writing code every day. We built StackBlaze for anyone running open source software in production: maintainers, small product teams, and organizations that want stable, scalable hosting without hiring a platform team.

Deploy from Git or templates

Connect your repository or start from a catalog template. We build, host, and run your application with preview environments for every pull request.

Full-stack in one project

Add databases, caches, and background workers alongside your app. Private networking between services without configuring a VPC.

Production concerns included

Automatic TLS on every endpoint, health checks, traffic routing, and persistent storage are part of the platform—not bolted on after launch.

How we operate

How we run the company.

Remote-first

We are a distributed team. No headquarters theatre, no mandatory office days. We hire for the work and trust people to do it well from wherever they are.

Infrastructure we own

We run on bare-metal servers in Tier III data centers across the East, Central, and West United States, backed by enterprise storage. We invested in hardware and security early so we control the foundation your apps run on.

Bootstrapped, with support

StackBlaze is bootstrapped and backed by a small group of angel investors. That keeps us focused on reliability and our users, not on inflating metrics for the next funding slide.

Who we work with

Teams at every stage.

Today we work with teams of all sizes, from small startups shipping their first product to publicly traded companies running production workloads on StackBlaze. The use cases differ, but the need is the same: deploy reliably, scale when traffic arrives, and stop spending weekends on infrastructure.

Startups

Teams shipping their first product who need production deploys without hiring a platform engineer.

Growing companies

SaaS teams and publicly traded companies running workloads that need to scale when traffic arrives.

Open source & operators

Maintainers and organizations self-hosting open source software who want stable, scalable hosting.

Whether you are self-hosting an open source project, running a side business, or operating a service that your customers depend on, we built StackBlaze to meet you where you are and grow with you.
