Account Executive

Calgary, AB · Remote Full-time

We are looking for our first dedicated Account Executive to own the sales cycle end to end, from first conversation to signed contract. You will work directly with engineering-led teams evaluating StackBlaze for production workloads.

This is a remote role, ideally for someone in or around the Calgary area so we can occasionally meet in person. You will be early enough to shape how we sell and what our sales motion becomes.

What you'll do

  • Run discovery calls, product walkthroughs, and pricing conversations with inbound and outbound prospects.
  • Own your pipeline in the CRM, keeping deals, notes, and next steps accurate and current.
  • Partner with solutions engineering on technical evaluations, migrations, and proofs of concept.
  • Close new business and hand off cleanly to onboarding for a smooth first 90 days.
  • Feed what you hear from the market back to product and marketing.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years in a closing sales role, ideally selling technical or developer-focused products.
  • Comfortable talking to engineers and technical decision-makers without overpromising.
  • A track record of hitting quota and running a disciplined pipeline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Based in the Calgary area or able to work core North American hours.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling cloud, infrastructure, or PaaS/DevTools products.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, hosting, or CI/CD concepts.
  • Early-stage or founding sales experience.
